Griff Doodles
A Griff Doodle is the combination of a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and a Miniature Poodle. This combination ensures future generations of dogs with hypoallergenic hair types, medium sized, and silky, smooth coats. The colours available at this time include black, brown, and white/brown. We have developed a combination of dogs that ensures these dogs are intelligent, eager to please, family oriented, and playful. We are excited to see how this breed develops through future generations.
Griff Doodle Breed Summary
Coat Type
Both Poodles and Wirehaired Pointing Griffons offer a hypoallergenic coat with minimal to no shedding. The coats available are wool and wire from our puppies. The wool coats are soft, and smooth and do require trimming. The wire coat is course and weather resistant and does not require regular maintenance.
Size
Our goal is to produce medium sized dogs that range between 17-21 inches tall at the shoulder. These dogs will range between 25-40lbs in weight
Temperament
Griff Doodles combine two similarly tempermented breeds and so it is possible to give a broad description of our puppies temperment. We expect them to be playful, loving, intelligent, family pets that are loyal and eager to please. Due to their high intelligence they will be easy to train and their athletic roots ensure they will be ready to go on any adventures you have planned.
Health
The main health concern in Griff Doodles is hip dysplasia. To prevent this from developing prematurely or at all we have all of our dogs health tested and their their hips checked prior to breeding . All of our dogs have passed these tests with no issues or concerns.
